Ectoin is derived from highly halophilic bacteria, an amino acid derivative that exists in microorganisms, and is a cyclic amino acid. It was first discovered in 1985 as a microbial substance that exists in the salt lake of the Natron Valley (Egypt Desert) in Egypt. Under extreme conditions of high salt, high temperature, and high ultraviolet radiation, Ectoin protects halophilic bacteria from harm.

We uses synthetic biology to optimize the fermentation and purification process of Ectoin, which not only improves the purity of Ectoin, but also greatly increases the amount of cell expression.

Block inflammatory factors

1. Inhibit the inflammatory response induced by bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS)

Keratinocytes

100 μg/ml Ectoin pretreated for 24h,

10 μg/ml LPS (derived from Pseudomonas aeruginosa) treated cells for 24h

It can effectively inhibit the degradation of IκB-α and the expression of related inflammatory factors, thereby inhibiting the inflammatory response induced by LPS

 

2. Experiments to reduce acne symptoms

Experiments show
1% tetrahydropyrimidine solution was sprayed every day to fill the place of the disease, three times a day (once in the morning, once in the evening), and the symptoms were relieved in two weeks.
